JOHN FRANK KRYDER
John Frank Kryder, 81, route 3, Cedarville, died at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday in a Freeport hospital following a short illness.
He was born June 5, 1867, in Stephenson county, the son of William and Sarah Kryder. He married Mary Jackson on Feb. 10, 1891. She died March 15, 1912. His second wife, Agnes Kryder, whom he married October 21, 1915, died Nov. 14, 1932. Kryder was a member of the Cedarville Methodist church and a retired farmer.
Surviving are one son, Clarence of Cedarville; one brother, Cyrus of Cedarville; one sister Mrs. Eva Howarth of Freeport; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Cedarville Methodist church, Rev. John Dickson of Red Oak will officiate, assisted by Rev. Fred Anderson of Orangeville. Interment will be in Cedarville cemetery.
Friends may call at the Burington funeral home in Orangeville until noon on Friday.
