Mrs. Sarah E. Kryder
Mrs. Sarah E. Kryder, wife of William H. Kryder, died at 12:15 o'clock Sunday afternoon at her home at Cedarville after an illness of several months. The deceased was born in Chester county, Pa., sixty-five years ago, and lived in this state ever since twelve years of age. She was married in 1859. She leaves five children living, two having preceded her to the grave. Those who survive are: Mrs. J. A. Graham of Freeport, Mrs. Ella Howarth, George W., John and Cyrus of Cedarville. She is also survived by three brothers, W. H. Williams of Wing Grove, Wis., J. H. Williams of Monroe, Wis., H. A. Williams of Central City, Neb., and one sister Mrs. M.L. Clevenstine, of Rock Island, Ill.
Mrs. Kryder will be buried in the Cedarville cemetery. The funeral will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the house and at 2:00 p.m. from the church. Rev. M. Holloway of Dakota will officiate, assisted by Rev. Mr. Newcomb of Cedarville.
TRANSCRIBER NOTE: Sarah E. Kryder was born January 26, 1841 as Sarah Elizabeth Williams. She married William H. Kryder, son of Daniel Kryder and Margaret Holloway.
