My Maternal Grandfather was born in the New York harbor May 25, 1881. His father's name is sketchy. My mother thought it may have been James, but wasn't sure. My Grandfather was named Anton Kuberra and married Marie Dvoracek. There is a Molly and Frank in this mix somewhere.

I just came across your messages and realized that I may have some info for you regarding Kuberra. My maternal Great Grandfather was born in Poland. I believe his name was James. He had a brother named Frank and a sister named Molly. There may have been more, but that is all my mother could remember. I

My grandma had told me today that my great grandmother went by the name of Molly, but her real name was Amanda Susan Kuberra. She says that everyone from church called her Molly, so Molly stuck.

In the newspaper clipping I had also listed Molly, but I thought it was her mother's name,but it was my great grandmother they were referring to.

My grandma also sent me some stuff. There was this piece of paper that had a little information on it. I had to enlarge it to find out what it had said. I found out that Amanda (Molly) had a total of 6 brothers and 2 sisters. The paper lists then as the following: Mike, Bill, John, Mary, Sophie. As parents Anton and Pauline.

I am not sure if this is right but it is a start. I was told her possible brothers as Bruce, Joseph, Frank, Anton. Well this is all I have for now. I will let you know what else I find out.

Jim,

I really don't have much info on the Kuberra family. All I know is that Stephen Polus also known as Steve or Steven Polus was married to Amanda Susan Polus. These are my great grandparents. Amanda's maiden name is Kuberra.

She was born and raise in Fairchild, than later on married Stephen Polus. They got married in July 19,1909 at St. John's Catholic church in Fairchild. In the clipping I have they had moved to Eau Claire after they gotten married and then moved back to Fairchild around 1914 or 1915. They had a house not too far from St. John's Catholic Church in Fairchild. The church is still there and running to this day.

I had gotten Molly Kuberra from the same newspaper clipping that I had mention above. The newspaper clipping was from my great grandparents 50th wedding ann. An Online friend had also found the Polus family in the Fairchild, Wi 1920 census. (p.14) At that time Anton Kuberra was living with my great grandparents. It has him listed as a father , age 74, Birth place Poland. This would put his birth year around 1844-1846.

My grandma isn't too much help. She was a very young child at the time Anton was living with them. So she really can't give anymore info than what I have here.

I was back home these last couple of weeks. I didn't really find to much out about the Kuberra family. The cemetery (St. John's Catholic Cemetery) that my great grandparents are buried at has two seperate Kuberra families in it. I am not too sure which ones belongs to my great grandmother.

I did find a Pauline Kuberra b 1852-d 1919 in that cemetery and I had check the other Kuberra family tree that is from Fairchild and she don't have Pauline listed in her tree. So I am beginning to think she is related to my great grandma some how.

I will happy if you could share any info that might be connected.

My name is Jim and I may be of some help. The KUBERRA name comes up on my paternal grandmothers side of the family. I do have some obits from the Augusta paper not sure all of the names right now. I will look in my files to see what I can come up with. Is there any more information you can share. As well as I can remember the KUBERRA'S married into the LANGE'S that are part of my family. Looking for Kuberra Relations

I am looking for my great grandma's relatives. I have very little about her family. I do have information about her and her husband. Her name is Amanda Susan Kuberra. She was born on July 22, 1887 and Died Oct. 27, 1986 in Fairchild, Wi. She had married Stephen Polus also known as Steven Polus. They had eight kids together they are: Agnes, Leo, Francis, Julia, Florence, Phillip, Marian, Rosemarie.

From what I was told they lived in Fairchild, Wi pretty much all their lives. They lived about a block or two from St. John's Catholic Church in Fairchild, Wi.

I also was told her possible brothers names are; Bruce Kuberra, Joseph Kuberra, Frank Kuberra. Her father's name was Anton Kuberra and her mother's name was Molly or Polly Kovaskey.

If any of this rings a bell please let me know. Thank you for you help. .
