My father was Charles John Kuddes, he died in Fremont, NE in Aug 1975. Emma Jo was previously married to Norman Kruger or Kreger, not sure of the spelling. They also have (or had, not sure on status) a sister named Katie, married to Tony Perez.

Could we be related?

My grandmother was a Kuddes, Her name is Helen Ruth, She had 3 sisters, and I believe 2 brothers.
My grandmother married in 1949 or 1950 shes married to John Donald Wilkinson. They have 2 kids.
She used to live in Ingalls, KS now she lives about 10 miles from there in Montezuma, KS
I know one of her sisters died of a disease that kept her in bed and in a child like state until she died. I believe she was around 16 years old. I'm not sure of her name.
She has another sister named Emma Jo shes married to Emory Smith. She was also Married before. Not sure of his name. They now live in I believe Tuscon, AZ
Her other sisters name is Katie shes married to Tony perez. and they now live in Garden City, KS.
I'm not sure what her two brothers names are I believe one is Bill.
Can anyone help me?

I got some of my facts mixed up, but either way my dad cleared everything up.. He told me that Zane would be his cousin. Fred Jr. Charles Joseph and Bill (william) would be his uncles, Fred Sr. was his Grandfather. Anna was his Grandmother. His mother is Helen Ruth Wilkinson (Kuddes)
My fathers name is Donald Eugene Wilkinson.

Amber,

Yes we are related. Your dad is my cousin and your grand parrents Helen & Don are my god parrents along with being my aunt and uncle. You are also related to Zane Kuddes. He is also a cousin of your dads.

My dad was William Henry Kuddes he died on Dec 7th, 2003.

Your Grandma also has an older brother named:

Joe Kuddes and live is Tollhouse, CA
Charlie Kuddes who died in the 1970 in Omaho
Fred Jr Kuddes who died in a helicopter crash in Army (Zanes dad)

You are indeed a cousin to my husband, Zane. The common ancestors you share would be my husband's gg grandparents Ernst Heinrich Kuddes and Marie Ilsabe Scholle..... see other posting on this message board to continue the line from there. I too have always been interested in my Kuddes lineage. My father is John (living in Independence, MO), my Grandfather also John (buried in Sweet Springs, MO) and from there I don't know much. My Grandfather died suddenly when my Father was 1 year, Grandmother remarried, and consequently we lost some needed information for family history. I do know that all of my Kuddes family lived in the Corder, MO area and have heard that from Germany they may have "landed" in Bear Creek (?), Indiana.
I am a Lutheran pastor living north of Austin, Minnesota. I am married with 3 children (2 sons, 1 daughter) and would love to engross them in as much Kuddes family heritage as possible. I plan to go to Germany in 2 years and would like to meet some Kuddes' there as well. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. This is like a dream come true. I have met only 2 other Kuddes' other than my immediate family. My brother has 3 sons, and with my 2 (and my daughters eagerness to keep her name) the Kuddes name will go on from our angle at least. So the more we know about our heritage, the better.

I am interested in anyone who has a Kuddes ancestry. My husband tells me that if there is a Kuddes in the United States, that we are related somehow. I am interested in building that Kuddes tree. His great great grandfather, Ernst Heinrich Kuddes, came to America with his family after 1870. I have genealogy that I am willing to share that traces the Kuddes line back into Germany during the early 1700's. Contact me if interestd.

The Kuddes' are my ancestors. Since a few hundred years they live in the area around the parish of Buer, Kingdom of Hannover.The oldest individual ancestor I have identified is Joist Henrich Kuddes, born ca. 1750. He was a farmer in the tiny village of Eggendorf near Markendorf. A register dating back from 1593 also shows the name Kuddes as farmer in Markendorf.
I would be interested to learn more from descendants of that family.
