Other than the info in my initial posting with the ancestry lines, unfortunately I do not know much more about the family.

The Kujansu(u) family is a blood relation for my spouse, but he was adopted as a child and not raised by the Kujansu's of the Lake County Ohio area. My understanding is that the first set of Kujansuus in this family in NE Ohio immigrated from Finland around the turn of the 1900's century.

I've found some information on some graves and the locations of the graves in Lake County Ohio, but have not had the fortune to meet any of the elder family members, as most of them had died by the time I married and met the extended family, who are descendants of the Kujansuus in this North Eastern Ohio area. My understanding is that descendants may still reside in the area, but I am out of touch with them.

My husband's biological mother is a Kujansuu direct descendant, but we have not yet met her. Assuming she is still alive, she would be somewhere in her 60s by now I'd assume. We've met a sister of hers, and other siblings of my husband, but thats about it. I do have some photos of my husband's grandparents.

It is entirely possible that your Kujansuus may be related to our Kujansuus as Canada is just a skip across the pond from Ohio.

Sorry that I could not be of immediate further assistance, and I wish you luck in your searching. Please refer back to my initial posting and if it turns out that you find a relation to our line, then please feel free to contact me again.
