My paternal grandmother, Franciszska (Frances) Kulesza was born in 1889, supposedly in Poznan, Poland. Her sister Marta (Martha) was born there in 1891, and also Anna (date unknown). Frances married Louis J. Anderson in Milwaukee, Wis.,and was the mother of 5 children; she died there in 1941. Anna married Carl Meissert there. Martha never married; she died in Milwaukee in 1965.
The father of all 3 women was Joseph Kulesza; his wife was named Anna. Family lore has it that they all came from Poznan.
Kulesza is not a very common name in the USA; so I am hopeful that I will find someone who has a connection with this family. It seems unlikely that they did not have more relatives somewhere--probably left behind in Poland. Any info is appreciated.
