I'm searching for information on Charles Hugo Kummell who emigrated to the US from Germany c. 1860. His birth name was Carl Gottfried Wilhelm Hugo Kummell; he used Charles Hugo Kummell in America.

I know of one son, Frederick August Kummell, Sr whose son was Frederick August Kummell Jr, my grandfather.

Frederick Sr was a musician, possibly with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
