I'm looking for information on the family of Frank KUNTZE - who I am told was of Polish descent - born about 1849, working in Birmingham, England as a waiter in 1878 when he married Caroline Ada BROWN.
Frank's father's name is given on the marriage certificate as Frank Friedrick, occupation given as clergyman. I don't know whether he also left Poland for England.
Frank and Caroline Ada KUNTZE had three children: Frederick Franz in 1879 died aged 3 months, Pauline Louise b. 1881 who married Percy Vincent BOWYER in Southampton and Herman who changed is name to Basil KAY and married Alys HAWKSFORD in London. Frank and Caroline also had a connection with the South-Western Hotel in Southampton.
