Hello,
I was really attracted to your post. I had to write you and tell you that No I don't know much about my family but as you can see i'm a Kuzma, my grandfather was 100% hungarian if I do believe.. My father knows more but that's kind of strange that your family may be from Hungry too. I live in michigan and as far as i know my family has lived here most of the time.

Kuzma Relatives

I am trying to find the family of Louis Kuzma, his Wife Frances (Frantiska) and their children Paul, John (Jan) and Mary (Mariska) They lived in New York/New Jersey. Paul had two sons (possibly more) nicknamed Bobby and Packy. I believe Packy would have been a toddler in about 1935.

My Great Aunt Emily Kuzma lived with them when she came over from Slovakia in 1913.

I am confused because I had always believed that she was czech, but Louis's her uncle states that he is hungarian. I have not been able to find any ellis island records, but have census records.
I am trying to find out anything I can about Kuzma family, and whether or not they survived WWII

If anyone has any info about this family I would appreciate it, my grandmother is 84 now, and Aunt Emily married her father when her mother (emily's sister) Died of tuburculosis.

Mary Kuzma in Western PA

Looking for information on Mary KUZMA who married George PAZICH. They lived in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland, PA in 1910. Family information states that they married in 1902 in Charleroi, but I have found no marriage record for them. They may have married in Slovakia. George was born 24 Aug 1881 in Klokocso, Ung, Hungary which is now in Slovakia near Michalovce.

Mary Kuzma & George Pazich

Gyorgy PAZICH was born 24 Aug 1881 in Klokocso, Ung, Hungary (now Slovakia) and died in 1943 in Weirton, WV. He married Mary KUZMA 17 May 1902 in Charleroi, Washington, PA. I have conflicting information on this couple. Census records (often wrong, I know!) indicate that Gyorgy immigrated in 1903. If he was married in 1902, this is certainly incorrect. Mary shows an immigration date of 1905; same problem. Children: John b. 1903 Monessen, Westmoreland, PA d.1990 Weirton, WV; Joseph b. 1905: Anna b. 1905-1908; and Mary b. 1909. Help on this family is appreciated!

My family was from this "city" as well. Mikal Savka born 1884 to Mikal Savka and Maria Sekalo and Maria Bucko, born in 1885 to ? Bucko and Maria Revicka. Mikal and Maria ended up in a suburb of Pittsburgh; I am their granddaughter. With a current population in the city of 188, there can't be that many families from the area!
