George Walter and Missouri Ann (HARMON) KYZER were my 2nd great grandparents.

In June 2006 I was able to visit the St John's Lutheran Church cemetery near Lexington South Carolina. My time was limited but I tried to take photos of every gravestone that seemed to relate to Kyzer, Kaiser or Harmon. I expected to find George Walter and Missouri Ann's graves there.

Unfortunately I didn't find any names that I could relate to people currently in my family tree.

I wonder if anyone knows of name lists from other cemeteries in the area?

Below is a list of names from the gravestones I saw. The photos and more details have been posted on my website, "electroscope.org/roots". Please let me know if this is helpful.

John Nicholson

Names from St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery

Harmon, Fred C.
Harmon, Frederick
Harmon, Martin Luther
Harmon, N.

I can hardly believe this! I am the daughter of John Henry Ard (9/9/25, Little Rock,AR) and Kaye Abplanalp. My father left Arkansas at 17 to join the Navy. His parents were Henry Dewell and Marie Hicks. I've had some trouble finding out about the family, I understand it was quite "controversial" for the time. Anyway, I recall the name Ernie Kaiser from some of dad's few stories. Dad died in Nov. 1997 from emphysema. His sister Beverly (Juanita?) is also gone.
