Do you have anything on their parents? Oswald and Pauline would have been my great great grandparents. I have an obituary for both Oswald and Paulina if you would like them, or you may have them already. Any valuable information you have would be greatly appreciated. Just email me.

I also saw a message from another one of our cousins ( on another site ) who is researching the Laakes and hasn't come up with much, either. We are from German heritage and as far as I know Herman Laake's family were from Missouri. Henry Laake came to Davenport and married Gertrude Adams, our beloved grandmother.

I would like to know more about any Laake family in Missouri. Any information would be greatly appreciated!! Feel free to email me.

Hi, I'm the daughter of Amanda Laake and Allen Watson. Doris Goerner is my aunt (my mother's sister in law). The Laake Reunion is the first Saturday in August of every year, and I believe Dennis Goerner (Aunt Doris' nephew) has compiled a lot of geneology information. I've read her History of Paige, which has a bit more info about the Goerners than about the Laakes.

I am the great granddaughter of Ida Laake-Vogelsang. She married Will or William (Whilem) Vogelsang. They lived in Milam County, she died in 1986 and Will in the '70's. Her parents are Paul Laake & Ida Geistman or Giestman. I don't know where Paul and Ida Geistman lived though. Any information on this part of the family would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! The only information I have is the cemetery listing, however there are two other people who are researching families in this cemetery. You can try:
LC Johnson [guksmail@home.com]
Or look for Virgil Freels posting on this same forum. I never did get his e-mail. If I can be of any other help, you can e-mail me at stevenletty@netzero.net or visit my webpage at http://theharrington.homepage.com.
The Friendship cemetery is listed under the "Texas Cemeteries" link and than "Other Cemeteries" link.
Thanks.
