Iam from the netherlands. Probaly related to you. The first time the name Laban appeared in the netherlands was around 1600. William Loban was from Scotland and was an officer in a scottish regiment that defended Holland against Spain in the 80 years war. He married in Holland and was registrated as William Laban.
