They married in England at the end of WWI 1st February 1919 in Wimbledon, Surrey and then moved to Canada. I am tracing my wife's family tree, she is an Anscomb and what happened to Emily has been a dead end for 5 years.

Any information gratefully received and more than happy to reciprocate on the Anscombs

Ian
My great-grandparents were married in Manitoba around 1886. Both wound up in Vancouver Canada. Clement was I believe one of 10 or 11 children , parents Gideon(?) Labossiere and Adelaide Potvin (possibly) from Quebec. Just wondering of anyone in this group have a connection here.
Cheers,

Labossiere - Massachusetts

We are trying to find info on a John B. Labossiere born in August 1861 in Massachusetts and died after 1942 in Vermont. He was married to an Olive Pointbriand (there are different spellings of her maiden name) of Vermont. According to census records for John, he was born in Mass and his parents were both French Canadian.
John and Olive had 3 children, Edna Delia 1889-1951 (never married), Frederick Napolean 1895-1916 (never married) and Clifford Norman 1902-1983. (here is where we come in)
We do not however know the name of John's parents or siblings if he had any.
If there is anyone with information that could help us it would be greatly appreciated.
Glaude- Labossiere Connection

Hello everyone! I was very excited to find information about my Great Grandfather Joseph Adelard Glaude Sr. on the One World Tree until I noticed a discrepancy between the birthdates of the individuals within the family line. My Great Grandfather was born in 1895, yet the world tree claims that his Grandfather is Louis Edmond Glaude and listed the birth date as 1890. I doubt that he is the grandfather. However, I do know that this is the correct lineage. My mother remembers her Great Uncle Peter and Aunt Alice and their children John and Albert. I was able to find an Armand Peter Glaude listed with a spouse named Alice and children named John and Albert.

Anyway, Louis Edmond's father is listed as Louis Alderic Glaude Labossiere. His birthdate is May 15, 1871. I'm thinking that perhaps Louis Edmond is a brother of Adelard Edward (my great great grandfather). Can anyone confirm this? I'm sorry for writing all this in such a confusing way. I'm confused myself.

My mother's family (Pierce) was from Vermont. In an earlier generation there was a second marriage of her grandfather to a Mary Labershire (which she says was a change from "LaBoussiere" the spelling of which she was unsure), but said family tradition was that she came from France. So I am looking at Labossiere as a possible connection. If anyone can help me connect these names I would appreciate it.
