My ggrandfather Fred LABS, born 1854 in Hinterpommern, married Auguste RUSCH in 1878, and emigrated to Nebraska in 1879. We can't determine where he was born, who his parents were, or anything previous to his marriage. Any suggestions gratefully accepted! Thanks!
