Hello,
I am researching the family of William Sterling, who married Agatha Frances Chene dit Labutte. In 1802 an infant, Aubin, was baptized at St. Pierre on the Thames, Kent Co., Ontario. Aubin was the child of a "slave" of Madame Widow Sterling. I believe that this was the "indian great grandmother" that my grandpa spoke of when I was younger. I have strong reasons to believe that this Aubin may have been my lost 3rd great grandfather!
I have the family lines in my copy of Dennisens, but wonder if anyone has knowledge of this family, a will for Madame Sterling, particularly salve records of the family, which would possibly establish the identity of Aubin, maybe court records, anything at all which you might know of.
My family resided in the Pierre on the Thames settlement, the only guy I can'y find is my 3rd great, Pierre St. Aubin. I would truely appreciate any information that you might be able to offer me

Thank you very much,
Tom St. Aubin
