Looking for any information on William Lace, born abt 1819 on the Isle of Mann and died 1899 Waterloo NY. He was married to Susan (last name unknown 1822-1893)of Pennsylvania, and they lived in Philadelphia between at least 1844 and 1850 where they had 3 children: William (b 1844), Benjamin (b. 1847), Mary Alice (b. 1850). They subsequently had at least 2 more children: John (b.1852) and Edward (b.1855). William and Sarah moved to Seneca Falls, Seneca cty, NY where he was a blacksmith. I have been unable to link William to his Isle of Mann ancestors. Does any of this ring a bell with anyone?
