As a hobby, I rescue old photos that have identification on them. I have a RPPC of a baby boy who is identified as Austin Ladd. It's a post card and on the back it's addressed to Mrs. A.J. Austin of Norwell, Mich. RFD. The baby is shown to be "Austin G. Ladd 7 weeks old." The stamp on it is a one cent stamp and the cancelation date is May 29, 1909.

I've done some research and he appears in the 1910 & 1930 census. He's in the Florida death index as well as the Social Security index. He was born in Michigan on April 3, 1909 and died Jan. 30, 1984 in Florida. He enlisted during WWII. His middle name is George. His parents were Leon & Mabel.

He was an absolutely beautiful baby. Nice head of hair and alert eyes.
