trying to trace Lafave family from Qubec. My grandfather is Clare rummy Lafave born 1924, his parents are Ernest Joseph Lafave (1899 Alpena) and Janette Agnes Root(1899),his parents are Napoleon Lafave (1855 Quebec) and Emma Sheff (1857 Quebec), and his parents are Ziedion Lafave (Canada) and Margaret Pilore (canada).Then the trail stops.Some the documents that I have spell the surname two different ways (Lafave or LeFave). Please info would be highly appreciated.
