I also had Marie Catherine Aurez dit Lafrenière b. Nov.1 1714, but she died Nov.2 1714 and buried Nov.4 in Sorel.
The Catherine I am looking for must be another child of Pierre and Marie-Etiennette Dubord as she got married on Feb. 1, 1717 at Isle Dupas to Jean Beaugrand dit Champagne. Any other information to trace this mysterious Catherine?

The Catherine you are looking for could not have been the child of Pierre and Marie Etiennette Dubord because they were married in 1701 so their child could not have been married in 1717 (well she could have). I have Catherine dit Marie Therese Houray born November 1, 1672 in Champlain married (2nd marriage) to Jean Champagne dit Beaugrand and her parents were Rene Houray dit Grandmont and Denis Damane. Her first husband was Pierre Cailla whom she married on January 31, 1689 in Champlain, Quebec. She died July 25, 1724. Pierre and Etiennette had a daughter named Catherine who was born in November 1714 and died the following day in Sorel. I hope this helps because this is the information I had.

The Catherine dit Marie Therese Houray, born November 1, 1672 in Champlain, could not have been married to Jean Beaugrand dit Champagne on February 1, 1717 at Isle Dupas. At this date, she was already married to Pierre Cailla and Pierre was still alive when she died July 25, 1724 in Champlain (source : PRDH).
Unless we find new evidence, the Catherine we are looking for is « probably » the daughter of Pierre and Marie-Etiennette Dubord. Nevertheless, we need to find documents (ex. baptismal, death, …) that can support this conclusion, as the marriage civil record and the marriage contract do not specify the name of her parents.

Maybe if your Catherine is not the same as the following one:

At this date, she was already married to Pierre Cailla and Pierre was still alive when she died July 25, 1724 in Champlain (source : PRDH).

Jean Beaugrand dit Champagne married Catherine Houray dit Laferriere on Feb. 1st, 1717 at Ile Dupas. He was the son of Jean Beaugrand dit Champagne who had arrived in Canada in 1665 in the Carignan-Salieres regiment. Jean (the son) had first married Francoise Guignard in 1697. I am a descendant of Jean and Francoise
