Maybe if your Catherine is not the same as the following one:
The Catherine dit Marie Therese Houray, born November 1, 1672 in
Champlain, could not have been married to Jean
Beaugrand dit
Champagne on February 1, 1717 at Isle
Dupas. At this date, she was already married to Pierre Cailla and Pierre was still alive when she died July 25, 1724 in
Champlain (source : PRDH).
Unless we find new evidence, the Catherine we are looking for is « probably » the daughter of Pierre and Marie-Etiennette
Dubord. Nevertheless, we need to find documents (ex. baptismal, death, …) that can support this conclusion, as the marriage civil record and the marriage contract do not specify the name of her parents.
