Pierre, Anselme, Agnes, and Olivier Lafond were born in StGermainn in the Drummondville area of Quebec, Canada, in the 1840s and 1850s. Pierre, Anselme and Olivier remained in Quebec, but Agnes married Basile Lavallee and moved first to Marlborough, Massachusetts, USA, and then to St. Joseph, Letellier area, of Manitoba, Canada. In 1934, Pierre and Anselme travelled from Quebec to visit their sister, Agnes.
