we have alot of info on the laforme family...my Brother has been doing research for the last couple of years, and has obtained info dating back to the 1800's until the present date...so maybe we can swap some info...

I have been researching the Laform, Laforme family from Canada and they are also members of the Mississauga's of the Credit Band of Natives. I found this website very useful in my research of this family and it is free.

This site is very easy to use. You can find the Laform, Laforme's in the 1852CA, 1901, and the 1911 Census of Canada.

To search for a person you must first choose a census. For example you would click on 1901 in the top right of page. This will take you to a new page. Where it says National Surname Search there is a box below where you type in the surname you are looking for and click on the go button to the right. This will take you to a new page where you will see all of the matches to your surname search.

I am from new credit as so is most of my family Here is a list starting with my grandfater Roy LaForme his wife my grandmother is Estella "Sally" LaForme. They had five children Roy "Skeeter" "Stick Man" LaForme
He has three children that i know of Brandon, Cody and Amber LaForme
Jr., Brenda LaForme has five children Jessica and Melissa Vance, Nick, Danielle and Kelsey Printup.
, Bonnie LaForme (my mother) has three children Ishmael Gonzalez Heather and Eli LaForme,
Kevin LaForme has four kids Summer, Kevin Jr, Spencer and Tessa LaForme and Crytsal LaForme has one Atillio "Jordan" Celetto.
I Heather LaForme have one son Ezra M. LaForme

Amy I do hope you have had some luck since you wrote this note. So very sorry about your brother. Life is so unfair. I lost a twelve year old son . I do understand. I am seeking a Phillip Laforme because his mother Nancy is a friend of mine. Lost touch in 1985. They lived in Buffalo, ny 1985. He would be the age you are looking for. Had a brother Preston.

I am trying to locate any information on a Morley LaForme, married to a Mary Belzner (first husband a Walpole) They lived in the Hagersvile Ontario area and had a number of children. I understand she is buried in an unmarked grave in a little cemetery just off Highway 3 near Simcoe. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if anyone can help me or not. I am looking for a Phillip Laforme, probably in his 20's, who was in the Army stationed at Fort Hood, Texas in 1996. I do not even know if I have the right Laforme or not. I have been searching the web for a while now. I am actually looking for anyone who knew my brother, Jeff Brasher. He was killed in a car accident coming home from Fort Hood on May 24, 1996. The only information I have is a letter from the insurance company, and a Phillip Laforme was the person in the vehicle with my brother. If anyone can help, please get back with me. Thanks.

I am not sure if any of these people are related. I am kind of at a loss. I have from my husband b. 1975 to his great grandfather Henry LaForme and then there is a big space of time that is missing. I know that the first ancestor they have knowledge of was from France, named John or Jean LaForme. He came to Canada in the 1700's and he married native woman. The family continued to marry natives and now the LaForme family is in the Hagersville area on the New Credit reserve. Any information, if you have it would be greatly appreciated.

We have found out that Hank's name was Henry W. LaForme b. 1904 d. Aug. 19, 1972 Hagersville, ON he was married to Rose Maracle who was b. 1898 d. 1995 Hagersville
Henry had brothers Harvey who lived in Buffalo and Lewis who lived in Brantford, ON. Any help on this family would be greatly appreciated.

No I'm sorry I'm not looking for French LaForme's as of yet, I'm still looking for the ones from New Credit, ON. The first LaForme in the family is said to be French and then he married a native woman and their children married natives and so on. The family is now completely native. If I can continue beyond the LaForme's that I have maybe I'll eventually get to the first one that came to Canada. Thank you for your response and I'm sorry I couldn't be of help to you.
