Oscar W. LaGrange on his WWI draft record gives his birthdate as 3 Aug 1882, and his nearest relative Anna LaGrange. He and Anna are found on census records in Everett, WA with two sons. In one census, his father, Chas. W. is with them.
Chas. W. and his wife Carrie have a family gravestone in Greenwood Terrace Cemetery in Spokane, WA, which has on it their names and the names of their children, as well as years of birth and death. Oscar's year of death, however, is missing the final digit. I asked at the office about this and was told that there is no record of Oscar being burried there.
I found a record of an Oscar W. LaGrange buried in Cypress Hill Memorial Gardens in Everett and was told by the office there that he was born 3 Aug 1883 and died 5 June 1957, and his wife's name is Cora. In fact, she is buried next to him.
I believe these two Oscars are one and the same and that Cora is his second wife. Can anyone confirm this for me, and perhaps tell me when Anna Rhode LaGrange died?
