Charlotte Laine - Seeking info

Seeking any info on Charlotte LAINE who was married to Jacques ROY approx: 1820. She died approx: 1852 Their last known child (George Conrad ROY, born March 02,1845 and age 7 when his mother died) is listed as born in Lévis, Québec, Canada - so its possible the marriage also occured at Lévis. The ROY surname was changed to KING sometime after emigration to Minnesota in latter 1800's. Any ancestor knowledge available on either surname line? Thanks for any help

Andrew Cameron Thompson died on April 14, 2002 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was born to Robert R. Thompson and Annette W. Thompson on September 19, 1932. Andrew was a graduate of Stanford University, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, and the University of Wisconsin Law School. Upon graduation from law school in 1957, he joined his father in the Oshkosh law firm founded by his great uncle Albert E. Thomp-son in 1879. The firm provided the basis for Andrew’s practice for 45 years. He was a member of the American, Wisconsin State and Winnebago County Bar Associations. He served as Presi-dent of the Winnebago Bar Association from 1977-1978. Andrew was an avid outdoor enthusiast, who particularly loved skiing and duck hunting. Like his father and grandfather before him, he was a member of the Fox River Hunting and Fishing Club. As a child, his summers were spent at YMCA Camp Manito-wish, where he later served on the Board of Directors. Throughout his adult life, he spent time with his family and friends at his cottage on Crystal Lake in Marquette County. Andrew Thompson was a devoted family man. He was married to his wife Nancy (Laine) Thompson on August 27, 1955 in Pasadena, California. He is survived by his wife Nancy, his son Stephen L. Thompson, of Seattle, Washington, his daughter Wendy E. Bertelsen of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and his daughter and granddaughter Nanette T. Garrison and Margaret E. Garrison, both of Seattle, Washington. Andrew is also survived by his brothers Dr. Robert W. Thompson of Issaquah, Washington and Craig C. Thompson of Santa Rosa, California, and his sister Susan T. Lee, also of Santa Rosa, California.
I have recently scanned a copy of the 1908 Canisteo High School Yearbook. The person named in the subject line appears in this book as an alumni.

To view the pages of the 1908 Senior Annual - go to the site listed below:

http://communities.msn.com/TheSeniorAnnual1908CanisteoHighSc...

There is no charge to view or to copy any or all of the pages! I have found such delight from this book and felt selfish not to share with other genealogists! (To copy an image, place your cursor on the image and click your right mouse button. Choose to "Save Picture As" and name your own copy!)

Please enjoy your visit. Leave me a message while you're there - I'd love to hear from you. And if the images are not clear - I need to know that as well!

Shari B-)
HELP SOLVE THIS MYSTERY!

I am trying to find out anything I can on a woman who was my great great grandmother. Her name is Minnie Lane born in Greenbay, Wisconsin, possibly in the 1850's or 1860's. Minnie married John Maier who was also from Wisconsin, born on 12/26/1856. They settled in North Dakota and had one daughter that I know of who survived, Edith Theresa Maier, born 3/28/1883. There were other children before her possibly others after her but they died. The last place I know for sure where they were was in Casselton, ND in 1883. After this, what happened to John Minnie is a mystery. Edith was raised by a family named "Manning" and remained in ND, married John Goehring in 1903, and migrated to Canada. I cannot find any records or evidence of what happended to her parents. If you can help, please let me know!
