Wilson Lakes, 82, Succumbs at Pattie A. Clay
Wilson Lakes, 82 years old retired Jackson County farmer, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Pattie A. Clay Infirmary at Richmond, following several weeks illness occasioned by a stroke of paralysis.
Mr. Lakes was a native of Jackson County and a member of the Wind Cave Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Lewis Gabbard, of Foster, Ohio; Mrs. Joe Spivy, of Hamilton, Ohio; Mrs. Dewey Gorman and Mrs. Albert Bayes and Mrs. William Maupin, all of Cincinnati, and Mrs. William Hargis, of Leabon [Lebanon?], Ohio; two sons, John Lakes of Farmville, Ohio, and Harvey Lakes of Jackson County; one brother John S. Lakes, of Wind Cave, and one sister, Miss Sallie Lakes, of Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at the family cemetery at Wind Cave at 2 p.m. this afternoon.
