Surnames: Lamarre, Lamar, Bernier, Cloutier
Researching LaMarres originating from L'Islet area in Quebec. Joseph Lamarre & Genevieve Bernier moved to Alpena, Alpena Co, Michigan in the 1880s. They are listed on the 1910 & 1920 census, and they have children b.1883/1884 born in Michigan (so I know they are on the 1900 census in Michigan but cant find them). Joseph's brother Laurent Lamarre/Lamar lived in Missouri, Illinois & Minnesota before settling in Seattle by 1900.
