looking for a William"Bill" Lamb that served on the USS Hector during 1946-1949 San Diego, Ca. My father served with this gentleman and would like to get in touch with him, they were both machinest mates. Dad says that Bill was from Texas maybe Childres? when dad was discharged from the navy in 1949, he said that Bill was still in. Any help in finding this "buddy" or any information for My dad would be greatfully appreciated My dad is now in his late 70's. Thanks again
