Is there anyone out there, who has been able to trace back to John Lambroughton's parents? Acording to records, he was married to Elizabeth Learmont (b. abt 1797) and I can't seem to find anything past that point. John and Elizabeth were my gggg grandparents. I'm hoping to visit Kilmaurs some day, and would love to contact some Lambertons! Can anyone help me? I am decended from William's son, Samuel, b. 1869. He married Amelia Jane Shimmin from IOM and came to Canada about 1907. I would be happy to share information if anyone is interested. Thank you so much,
