I found the marriage extract from ScotsPeople for Mary Boyd and William Lamberton (this isnt my direct line, however I couldn't find one for Thomas Lamberton and Janet Boyd). It states that William's parents were John Lambroughton and Elizabeth Learmont - Mary's parents being John Boyd and Jane Thomson(?). I can't really read her maiden name but after searching sides think it is Thomson (it doesnt look like anything else, and I have found another child by them under these names).

William and Mary married in 23 Jan 1857 in Kilmaurs. I have it down that Mary's parents married in 1820 (ScotsPeople) but am skeptical as Janet was born in 1814. Unless Janet's birthdate is wrong, but looking at census information it isn't.

Any help would be much appreciated. I also have my familytree on WorldConnect.
