My husband, a Longbrake (original Lambrecht), has been resently diagnosed with DUPUYTREN'S DISEASE. His brother also had the same problem which is a non-cancerous condition causing abnormal thickening of the tissue between the skin and the tendons of the palm also may be seen as excessive thickening of the soles of the feet. Usually occurs in white males over age of 40 whose ancestors originated in Northern Europe.
Although certainly could have resulted from other surnames associated with the family I am curious if anyone else with the Lambrecht name might have or notice the same condition.
there are actual round bumps on the palm of the hand and near the ring finger.
Joan Longbrake
