Classification: Query
Surnames: Lambright Anding
I'm new to the party, and I'm researching the Anding and Lambright lines, connecting at Martin Alexander Anding and Mary Lambright Anding, in Copiah Co., MS, in the early 1800's.
Paging through the posts, I noticed some controversy about the book "The Lambrights: Descendants of Nicholas Lambright a Revolutionary War Soldier" by Mary Fay Campbell Schertz, concerning the questions whether Nicholas Lambright / Lambrecht was in fact born in Flanders, and whether his connection was established to George Lambright, who moved from SC to Mississippi around 1805. A couple of posts around 2001 suggested that neither of these points was true.
What came of all this? Can anyone set out the current state of research?
Thanks,
Joe
