Looking for Lambright/Ent descendants

I would be interested in corresponding with any descendants of Lydia Lambright and Otho George Ent. Lydia's dates are b. 1/4/1816 and d. 12/4/1892. I have the date of their marriage as 3/1/1837. As far as I know they resided in Fredericksburg, MD and moved to Ohio in the mid 1800s.

One of their children, Sophia Julia Ent Green, was my GG Grandmother. Our family has several very old photos, and we cannot identify all the persons but believe they are tied to this line.

I have part of a Lambright Geneology book that starts with Nicholas Lambright. I only copied the parts that were about the Harvey Lambright branch. Mrs Ermie Lambright Deare let me borrow her book just before she died. Her sister took the book back to Texas I think. What I have goes from 1741 to My children (the present).

Nicholas and George Lambright -- Resolved?

I'm new to the party, and I'm researching the Anding and Lambright lines, connecting at Martin Alexander Anding and Mary Lambright Anding, in Copiah Co., MS, in the early 1800's.

Paging through the posts, I noticed some controversy about the book "The Lambrights: Descendants of Nicholas Lambright a Revolutionary War Soldier" by Mary Fay Campbell Schertz, concerning the questions whether Nicholas Lambright / Lambrecht was in fact born in Flanders, and whether his connection was established to George Lambright, who moved from SC to Mississippi around 1805. A couple of posts around 2001 suggested that neither of these points was true.

What came of all this? Can anyone set out the current state of research?

Thanks,

Joe

Mr. Freiermuth was reportedly from the town of New Bedford in the same county. They later moved to California.

If anyone has any Lambert or Lambright family from Taunton in their tree and perhaps has a clue as to Sally's parents I'd be delighted to hear what you have to share. As well I'd like to find a trace of George A. Freiermuth in Massachusetts, having failed to find him anywhere except California in later years (1870+).

I received an email from Bob Mckenna, President of the Piney Woods Chapter of the TXSSAR Sons of the American Revolution. Mr. McKenna gave me an email address for a Mamie Katherine Anding who supposedly has already done the research required qualifying for DOA. The email address I was given is invalid. Does someone have her email address. Ms. Anding, if you read this please email me at barnes_arthur@hotmail.com.

Frank Lambright md Rachel b1846 OH d 1902. They lived on a farm on the banks
of the Sandusky River in Bucyrus OH. Living w/them was my GG Gf Daniel Barlitt
1788-1892. I have Daniel's 100th BD interview w/the Bucyrus newspaper, given 23
Jun 1888, identifying Lambright. I suspect Frank's wife Rachel was a dau of
Daniel's 2d wife (Eliz Tupps, my GG Gm) or perhaps more likely 3d wife (Eliz
Treish Speagle), but not likely a son of Daniel. c b a r r y @telocity.com

Hello again Arthur and hello for the first time to Jeannie Lambright. Haven't been to this site in awhile. I see all of you have been busy. I saw the book at one time at a Family History Center. I think it was on microfiche or microfilm. Pretty sure you cannot get the real book from them. It is 25 cents per page to copy the microfilm and they do not let you remove it from the centers. Arthur, I forwarded two of your emails to me to a good friend of mine who is from that same line. Her mom is Monroe's daughter, Martha Mae. I asked her if it would be ok to give her email address to you. Will let you know soon as she answers. Jeannie, are you from Monroe's son, Harvey. I do not understand the dates you gave. If so, you may know my friend also. Will let you know. Remember that Mary Faye Campbell Shertz book was written long ago. Some new researchers do not think that all those Lambright lines came from Nicholas. Keep an open mind.
