Surnames: Lamothe, Lamotte, Tang, Boivin, Couturier, Boutillier, Jeanvainne.
I have been running into roadblocks trying to find my lamothe lineage.
I managed to find Leandre Lamothe and Sophie Couturier in a few places..also known as Leandre lamott, Leander, Jeannot, Lamotte and Sophie Couturier, Boutillier and at one time Lehourier though we seem to have debunked that idea.
On Sophie's death registration it says Sophie Couturier Lamothe alias Jeanvainne as does his say Lamotte alias Jeanvainne.
Soif anyone has ANY leads I would really appreciate the help.
Leandre would be the father of Francois/Francis Lamothe married to Mary Jane Tang in Bonfield/Mattawa/Renfrew Dist.
