Born in Troupsburg, NY Jan 16 1920, she was the daughter of Bert & Florence Allsworth Lamphear.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Woodhull, the Parallel Sewing Circle, and active in the Chenango Cemetery.
Predeceased by her husband,, Arthur Almon Newell, 03 Apr 2004; a brother, Clair Lamphear and sister Audrey Potter.
Survived by two sisters, Verda Miles and Lois Tiffany, both of Woodhull and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday May 13th 2-4pm at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St, Woodhull, NY, where funeral & committal services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 4pm. The Rev. Brian Diffenbacher will officiate.
