I am one of the daughters of Richard Peter Solga from California. His brother William Solga (deceased) lived in Washington. Two other brothers are also deceased (Arthur and Charles). I'd be very interested in the journal, or at least a copy.

Rochus Solga was my great - great granfather. His son Anthony was my grandfather. My fathers name was Raymond John Solga. One of my Fathers' cousins lived in CA, His name was also Richard Solga (like mine. My family would be extremely interested in the journal, or at least a copy.

I just want to make sure that there isn't some family member in the Pacific NW that is more closely related. Do you know of anyone? If not, I would
be happy to mail the book. It is primarily a burial book for Rochas Solga, but it lists family and friends of family. Let me know your mailing address and I'll try to get it in the mail this week.

I have a burial journal for Rochus Solga from May 1936 in which it lists many Polish-German family members and friends. Agnes Solga married into the Lamusga family. The journal also lists Frances Lamusga, Pauline Lamusga, Mr & Mrs Val Lamusga.
The burial was at St Joseph Cemetery in Browerville, Minnesota. Some one in this family moved to the NW [Washington] and the journal was sold at an estate sale.
Does anyone have information that would help locate this family?

Those surnames aren't familiar to me, but I haven't done a lot of research on the Lamusga line. I haven't been doing a lot of research lately on any of my lines, but it's time to get back into it!

I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you before now, I've lost my information so many times (computer crashing) that I gave up on genealogy for a while. Have you found anything new, or is there information I could give you to fill in some gaps? Just to clarify: Alvina was my husband's grandmother, not his mother. Alvina's son was my husband's father. Alvina also has a daughter who is still living.

My husband's grandmother, Alvina, was born in Browerville, her parents were Frank and Marie.

Hi,
I've received email from John Van Essen, and he said that my husband is from the same line (although my husband doesn't quite believe it). Alvina only had two children, one daughter (still living) and one son (deceased in 1980). My husband has two sisters and 4 cousins, and all have children, so the line does keep going.

linda sorry i haven't replied sooner, been busy. have listed alvina as franks daughter. lost a lot of what i had loaded so will have to enter again and keep current on backing up. would like to hear more about this side. john van essen and dennis lucas and i have been in contact and we are putting it together. met a couple today at iron world, they were from browerville and know a jerry lamusga, have to place him too.

linda hermes forgive me for not replying. your husband's mother was alvina, her dad was frank? my g pa was peter albert lamusga, jr, his dad was peter albert sn, sibling to frank. their dad was albert.have found cousins john van essen and dennis lucas. they come from the siblings of frank lamusga. alberts dad was stanislusor stanik. would love to find out move on the frank, alvina line. peter dale lamusga

We connect to Lamusga in Browerville and in Chisholm, Minnesota. In fact, I visited with Joyce and Grace Lamusga yesterday. I have followed that line for a ways and have pretty much information on it. Do you have Konietzko/Konetzko? My g-grandmother was Anna Konietzko and her brother Ignitz Konietzko is the Lamusga line.
