John Landers - Ireland to New York

My great grandfather came to New York from Ireland and received his citizenship papers in 1884. Those papers are the only trace we have of him. Anyone out there think they may be related to John. He ultimately married and had 5 children, William, Thomas, Christopher, Nellie, John. Who all settled in Queens. Any info would make my dad sooooo happy!! Thanks.
