Surnames: Landron Oneil
Hello. My great-grandfather was Manuel Lopez Landron who was born in Vega Alta Puerto Rico in the 1800's. Although my own quest for ancestors is still going on, I know that there is an Irish connection in the family. I'm still waiting to hear back from other relatives working on the matter, but I can tell you that there was a well off man in the family with lots of property, who's business was in manufacture of sails for ships. I'm still trying to find out his first name, but I was told his last names were Landron Oneil, and that he was a Spain sympathizer from Ireland, who contributed money to Spain's war efforts in Africa. As far as I know my great great grandmother was a product of one of his marriages.
