¡Hola Erika, Gwendolyn,C.Ortega y Carmen!
Gracias,
Iris

My greatgreatgrandfather wasTomas Landron who was married to Francisca Lopez.I believe my greatgrandfather had another wife named Josefa Martinez. Manuel Genaro Landron Martinez was one of their children. He married Francisca Rivera Marrero, from Toa Alta. I have more data but no space here. Some Landrons gather every year at Christmas time. I am a mathematics professor and I know this because one of my students told me. If you want information email me at carmenlandron@yunque.net. My English is not too good but I will try to answer the best I could. Bye.

Seeking information on Joseph Landron, born 22 May 1893 (in New Hampshire according to 1920 census), died April 1987 in New York City (according to Social Security Death Index).

Joseph married circa 1914 (possibly in New York) to Helen Adeline Taylor. They had two children - Esther born April 1915 in Brooklyn, New York and Anita Rose born August 1917 in Brooklyn, New York. Helen divorced Joseph and moved to Grand Junction, Colorado.

I know nothing else about Joseph Landron. Please reply in English. Thanks

LANDRON from France

Hola de Francia!
I'll continue in English because my Spanish is not so well..
To summarize my knowledge of the LANDRON name origins:
it appears to be a french surname mainly located in the center-west and north of the country. Actually i'm from the northern branch. As far as I know from my personal researches, there's probably no link between the two branches. I suspect that the center-west LANDRON has the same roots as LANDRY. On the other hand, the northern LANDRON could have Spanish roots. Just take a look at my web site: http://www.club-internet.fr/perso/landron then go to "Genealogy" and "About Saint Landron"...and let me know.
Also I've already had contacts with LANDRONs in P.R.. If anyone is interested I could forward the names and e-mails. They also told me about LANDRON emmigrating from Ireland to Puerto Rico. I've interesting mails about that stuff.
My e-mail is: landron@club-internet.fr
Hope to hear from you.

Hasta luego!

Didier
