Shannon - The Landtroops that I have are all from northern AL. It seems that my grandmother's mother was Mary C. Urban. Her father was Cassinder (Capander) Urban and her mother was Susannah Landtroop. He was born in AL about 1834 and she was born in AL about 1838. Her father was Houston Landtroop according to my aunt who told me this history about 10 years ago in a letter. I hope we can tie this in to something else. Have a good Christmas!
