Timothy Deforest Lane was born 1833-1840 in Dublin, Ireland, and died 7 Sep 1898 in St Johns, Newfoundland. He married Adelaide (Adelia) Gillespie 5 Dec 1865 in New York City. She was born 1838-1841, Canada or NY, and died 15 May 1897 in Brooklyn NY. They had 6 children:
Katherine Lane, b ca 1867, m Mr Bennett
Nell Josephine Lane, b ca 1869, d ca 1887, m Mr Reed
Mary Lane, b ca 1871, m Mr Wickers

Annie Blanche Lane (my ggrandmother), b 2 Jan 1876, d 3 Jan 1945, m 31 Jan 1894 Samuel Judd Stewart
