Still looking for Lanes of Cocke Co., TN.
My gggg grandfater was Fountain Lane born abt 1822-TN.
Married to Hannah ???. I am descended from their son Perry b; abt 1847-TN
I am looking for Fountain's father.
1850 cenus has several Lanes living in Cocke Co. TN.
Wondering if anyone has traced any of these families and know the descendants. Especially Irwin Lane, who might be my Fountain's brother ( as Irwin appears to live next door and is a few years younger than my Fountain).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
