Elsie Cecelia Langeland, b.1905, dau of Peter/Maria, lived Winnebago Co., IA

I have an original Cabinet Card photograph of “Elsie Cecelia Langeland – age 1 year June 19, 1906”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. She is a darling baby girl.

I found Elsie and her parents in the 1910 census of Logan (Winnebago Co.) IA, and she was age 5. OneWorldTree shows she was born on 19 Jun 1905 and as an adult, married Arthur Silas Knudeson.

We are searching for Torkel and Martha Langeland. Not much information to go on. Believed to of resided in the MN, ND, SD area somewhere. Anyone with information?

Arthur George Langeland of Gainesville died Thursday at North Florida Rehab and Speciallty Care Center. He was 91.
Mr Langeland was born in Yonkers, NY., and moved to Gainesville from Sarasota 15 years ago. He was a retired carpenter.
He was a National Guard veteran.
He was prceded in death by his wife, Virginia Langeland.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Langeland of Gainesville; a daugher, Dorothy Allen of Blacksburg, VA., four grandchilden; and three great-grandchildren.

Have you tried digitalarchives.com ? It has an amazing data base. Go to Cyndi's list.com, then look up Norway and then go to the site for the digital archives. The 1900 and 1865 census records are outstanding.
