My grandfathers name is James Edward Lanier. He was born January 30 1927 in Savannah, Ga. He died June 6 2003 in Middleburg, Fl. His first marriage (not sure of wifes name) but had three children Richard, Ronald, Janice. His second marriage was to Eleanor Anne Lipsey and had two sons, Mark Randolph and Michael Edward (my father). Then he married a third time to Virginia and had James Edward Lanier Jr. He lived in Savannah until 1959-1965 then moved to Jacksonville, where he then moved out to Middleburg. He was never a big talker of the past and no one remembers his parents ever being discussed. He did have three sisters though. Kathleen Lanier who married Tommy LaMoine(sp?) and moved to Marksville, La. Corrine Lanier who married Aaron Chase and they lived in Ga. And his thir sister Margaret Lanier who married Tommy Parrimore and they lived in Lakeland, Fl. If anyone could find information on my grandfathers parents I would greatly appreciate it.
