Harry Lanoue

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Harry J. Lanoue, 86, formerly of Marshfield, died Aug. 8, 2004, at Hot Springs, Ark., after a short illness.
Visitation and interment was at Hot Springs, where he had resided for the past 18 years.
He was born March 14, 1918, in North Adams, Mass. He married Myrtle Redig in 1945. Mr. Lanoue served at Pearl Harbor during the initial bombing and in the South Pacific for seven years, including during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Lanoue, Green Bay; his son, Vern (Marlene) Lanoue, Green Bay; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Yvette B. (Rioux) Lanoue died Feb. 20, 2006. She was 76.
Mrs. Lanoue was born in Fall River and was a resident of Somerville. She was the owner of a restaurant.
She was the wife of the late Normand J. Lanoue; mother of Andre J. and Jean R. Lanoue, and the late Celeste Staples; and grandmother of Andrea, Nicole, Christopher and Brian Lanoue. She is also survived by brothers and sisters.
A funeral Mass was held Feb. 22 at St. Joseph's Church in Somerville, followed by a private burial. Arrangements were made by the Brown-Flaherty Funeral Home in Somerville, MA - SOURCE from the Somerville Journal (Feb/24/2006)

MILFORD -- Alberta A. Alba Sesona, 85, died Friday in her home.
Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Teodolinda (D'Antonio) Iadarola and was a lifelong Milford resident. She graduated from Milford High School in 1937. She retired in 1981 from the former Central Milford Travel Agency where she was employed as a travel agent. She was a cantor at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church for more than 60 years. She presently was the manager of the Bell Tower room at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Sacred Heart choir and the Sacred Heart Woman's Club.
She leaves her son, Albert J. Sesona of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Rita L. Juster of Dallas and Ellen A. Lanoue of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one sister, Corinne Barry of Upton; and eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Alphonse Fonzy' Iadarola, Michael Iadarola, Ida Tessicini, Eleanor Laquidara, Elvira Iadarola, Theresa Ferrari and Josephine Spinazola.
A funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 16, at 9 a.m., from Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home (www.consigliruggeriofuneralhome.com), 46 Water St., followed by a Mass of Christian burial, at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St in Milford.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Medway Road, Milford.
Calling Hours are Thursday, Sept. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

FARMINGTON ? Robert E. Kimplin, 71, of Elm Street in Farmington, died early Friday morning, July 16, 2004, at home after a period of failing health.
Born Feb. 24, 1933, in Bernardston, Mass., he was the son of Charles and Jennie (Clark) Kimplin. He had resided in Farmington for almost four years, having come from Greenfield and Bernardston, Mass., where he resided for most of his life.
A U.S. Army veteran, prior to retirement, he was employed as a cab driver in western Massachusetts with City Cab. While in New Hampshire, he was employed with Dover Housing in maintenance. He enjoyed fishing, camping, singing, was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Laura F. (Patterson) Kimplin, of Farmington; three children, Jennie Kimplin and Charles Kimplin, both of Greenfield, Mass., and Wade Ray Presnell of North Carolina; three stepchildren, Gayle and husband, Charles Turner of Farmington, Howard and wife, Debbie Gleason Jr. of Stuyvesant, N.Y., Brian and wife, Karen Gleason Sr. of Ormand Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren and a stepgreat-grandson; a sister, Gladys Lanoue of Holyoke, Mass.; and two brothers, Arthur Kimplin of Salem, and Elvin Kimplin of Greenfield, Mass.; also several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Pernell Kimplin and three sisters, Mildred Hudson, Florence Renaud and Frances Renaud.????
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Center Cemetery in Bernardston, Mass. Laura Morgan Benedetti, 78, of Franklin, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, in a Franklin hospital.
She was a native of Macon County. She was daughter of the late Charles and Bertha Holland Morgan. She retired from Massachusetts State College System. She is a member of The Lords House.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, William G. Benedetti; three daughters, Beverly Lanoue of Pittsford, N.Y., Diane Lanoue Law of West Springfield, Pa., Theresa Langlois of Edneyville; son, Ronald Lanoue of Fremont, Calif.; four step sons, Michael Benedetti of Tyler, Texas, William James Benedetti of Moorehead City, Jeffrey Benedetti of Scarborough, Maine, and Keith Benedetti of Mashpee, Mass.; five grandchildren and eight step grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Moffitt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at a later date at Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown, Mass., under the direction of Glynn & Dagnoli, Montagna Homes for Funerals in North Adams, Mass.

ST. ALBANS / SHELDON - Mr. Emery Joseph Bouthillier, age 86, died Wednesday evening, April 25, 2007, in the Northwestern Medical Center, with his loving family at his side, following an extended illness.
Emery was born June 10, 1920, in Leominster, Mass., son of the late Edward and Marion (Charland) Bouthillier. Emery graduated from St. Mary’s High School. For 39 ½ years he was a powerhouse operator for the Missisquoi Pulp and Paper Mill, which became Boise Cascade during his working career. He was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church while in Sheldon, and at St. Mary’s Church after moving to St. Albans. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 297 of St. Albans. He was a Boy Scout Leader of Troop 34 in Sheldon Springs and a Boy Scout District commissioner for several years. He enjoyed model railroading, stamp collecting, coin collecting, hiking and camping and was an avid reader of history of railroads.
On Dec. 23, 1942, he married Phyllis A. Sears. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Charlene and Walter LaCombe of Lyman, Maine, Beverly and Oather Gardner

MICHAEL W. DUMONT, 64, of 45 North Main St., Pascoag, a truck driver, died yesterday at Harris Manor, North Scituate.
Born on May 2, 1940, in Fall River, he was a son of the late Michael J. and Rose (DoBonis) Dumont. Mr. Dumont had been a driver for the Trayner Trucking Co., in Connecticut, for 10 years before becoming ill in 1995. Before driving for Trayner, he had been a self-employed tractor-trailer driver in the northern Rhode Island area for many years. He was a Marine Corps peacetime veteran. He was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge 2369, Smithfield, the North Smithfield Fly Fishing Club, and FOPA Lodge 32, North Smithfield. He was a former member of the Sayles Hill Rod & Gun Club, Manville. He leaves two sons, Donald Dumont of North Smithfield and Edward Dumont in Oregon; a stepson, Michael Ebert of Pascoag; two daughters, Christine Hunt of Woonsocket and Donna Ledoux of Lincoln; two brothers, Donald Dumont of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Robert Dumont of Somersworth, N.H.; a sister, Diane Lanoue of Manville; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

SWANTON ? Fern Leduc, loving mother, wife and caring friend to many, successfully completed her mission in life and passed into the portals of heaven into the arms of her Savior. She ?fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith.? Fern died peacefully at home on March 21, 2006, surrounded by her family, following a battle with cancer.
Fern was born in St. Albans on Nov. 21, 1928. She was the youngest daughter of the late Alma (Chevalier) and Oliva Lanoue. She has two siblings: her sister, Giselle (Lucille) Tatro of Southwick, Mass. and brother, Paul Lanoue of Morfelden, Germany. Additionally she had , who four half-siblings have gone on before her: Germaine Bilodeau, Beatrice Fountaine, Maurice Lanoue, all of St. Albans, and Father John Lanoue of St. Michael?s College.
She leaves behind Andrew, her husband of 57 years. Together they raised a family of four children. The surviving family members are Elaine Sweatt and her husband, Wendel, who reside in Fairfax, Vt., George Leduc and wife, Cindy of Loudon, N.H., Kathy Warble and husband, Ron of Oviedo, Fla., and Sally LeDuc and her spouse, Jay Brown, of Reno, Nev. Her legacy also includes nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In 1996, Mrs. Leduc retired from Vermont Associates, a division of the National Council on Aging, following 12 years of service. She was employed as the state?s payroll manager. Prior to this she worked for many years at Jack Rixon?s Pharmacy.
Perhaps Fern?s greatest joy was her association and fellowship with Church of the Rock in St. Albans, where she was one of the charter members.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 12 p.m. at Church of the Rock on Route 104 in St. Albans. All are welcome to join the family for the memorial service and lunch reception at the church, which will follow.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home and Commemorative Services.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Association of Franklin County or to Church of the Rock in Fern?s honor.

WATERFORD- Lucille (Lanoue) Gaughan, 80, formerly of 58 Louise Street, Waterford, died January 11, 2007 surrounded by family and friends after an extended illness. A devoted Christian, she faced her illness with courage and strong religious convictions. She was an active member of the Groton Bible Chapel for over 30 years and organized and led many bible study groups. At the time of her death, she was residing with her daughter, Sharon Morgan and her husband Richard at 33 Douglas Lane in Waterford. A graduate of the Vaugh Barber School in Hartford, she formerly worked for Center Barber Shop in New London. For 22 years, she was involved in direct sales with Home Interiors and Gifts and Home and Garden Party. Born December 19, 1926 in Fall river, MA, she was the daughter of Joseph and Philomena Lanoue. In 1945, she married Joseph D. Gaughan, Sr. of Pawtucket, RI, a retired Navy Chief Petty officer who died in 1998.
She is survived by four children, Sharon Morgan (and her husband Richard) of Waterford; Joseph D. Gaughan, Jr., (and his wife Tammy) of Cocoa, FL; Joy M. Gaughan of Waterford and Jay M. Gaughan (and his wife Judy) of Uncasville. She also leaves six grandchildren, Kim Silva and Richard Morgan of Waterford, Joseph D. Gaughan IV of CA and Joel M. Gaughan of Honolulu, HI, Kayla and Conor Gaughan of Uncasville; and three great grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Andrew T. Molloy. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John T. and Hannah A. (Walsh) O'Connor, she had lived in the Riverside section of East Providence for 50 years before returning to Providence in 1992.
Mrs. Molloy had been a telephone operator for the New England Telephone Co. for 25 years before retiring as supervisor in 1947.
She leaves two nieces, Anne M. Maloney of Warwick and Mary Jane Lanoue of Seekonk; and four nephews, Arthur V. and Edward F. McDeed, both of Warwick, and Robert Biber and Michael L. O'Connor, both of Furniss, Pa. She was a sister of the late Hannah C. McDeed, Helen Biber and Mary E., Maurice A. and Leo B. O'Connor.

A funeral mass was said Friday, January 21, in Blessed Mother Theresa Parish at St. Margaret’s Church for Richard K. Lanoue. He was the son of Alice (Lanoue) O’Brien of Dorchester; the brother of Debra and Jerry Christopher of Weymouth, Karen and John Chroniak of Quincy, John and Catherine O’Brien of South Boston and the late Michael O’Brien and the nephew of Edmund Lanoue. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lawrence J. Girard, 74, of 114 Banbury Circle, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002.
Born in North Adams, Mass., he was the son of the late Lawrence W. and Beatrice Saulnier Girard. He was a retired textile executive with Windward Textiles in Simpsonville and was a member of the Wood Carving Club, Larry's Lodge Hunting Society, the Spartanburg Rotary, and was an Eagle Scout, which he was very proud of. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary. Mr. Girard served in the 25th Army Infantry during World War II. He attended Marlboro College in Vermont.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jean Beaudin Girard; two daughters, Mrs. Laurie Girard Vaughn of Rock Hill and Annette Girard Malak of Rosewell, Ga.; three sons, Lawrence Peter Girard of Simpsonville, Stephen Paul Girard of Newnan, Ga., and William Beaudin Girard of York, S.C.; a nephew who grew up with the family, Melvin Arthur Dodd of Decatur, Ga., nine grandchildren; a sister, Margaret T. Lanoue of North Adams, Mass.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bishop School of Nursing Alumnae Scholarship Fund, c/o Barbara Kie, 24 Evelyn Park, Pittsfield, Mass. 01201.
A recitation of the rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.
The family will be at 114 Banbury Circle

JOAN R. TENTE, 70, of Clews Street, a homemaker, died Friday at home.
She was the wife of Joseph N. Tente; they had been married for 51 years. Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Albert and Rose (Ferdette) Angiolillo, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life.
Mrs. Tente had worked in the cafeteria at Curtis Memorial Elementary School, in Pawtucket.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing and drawing.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Joseph W. Tente in Maryland and Robert M. Tente of Pawtucket; three daughters, Anne-Louise Buteau in Florida, Joanie Charron in New Jersey and Tracey L. Tente of Burrillville; two brothers, J. Bruce Angelo in Tennessee and Wayne Angelo of Cumberland; two sisters, Violet Lanoue and Loreen Kenny, both of Pawtucket; and four grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Albert and Ronald Angelo.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Leo the Great Church, 699 Central Ave. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro.
