Looking for information on my Lansdown family:
I have a William Lansdown Sr. who I believe was born in Halifax County Virginia and died 12-7-1753 in westmoreland Co., Virginia. He married Nancy, last name unknown. They had a son William (other children were;Mary, Lucy, Sarah, and George).
William was born in Halifax Co., Virginia in 1744 and died in 1803 in Wilkes Co., NC. he married Mary (Polly) Seamore who was born about 1730. They had a son Reuben and daughter Sarah. Reuben 1733 Wilkes County, NC and died 1840 in Carter Co., Tn. he married Selah Morgan, they had 4 children in which one was Margaret (Peggy) Lansdown who married Anderson Kite, Son of Isaac Kite, and Ruth Flanary.
