I have a Family Heritage Chart on Henry Lanzer, Jr. & Caroline Burbach which was prepared around 1982 by Ruth Lanzer, a daughter-in-law. They lived in the Napoleon, Ohio area.

LINDYBASKET@AOL.COM

also researching Henry Lanzer: Peter Lanzer: Freidricka/ Frida Lanzer Klein. Peter remained in Mclean Co IL while
Henry and Frida moved to Henry Co OH. Peter m Phillipina Klein while Frida married Charles Klein, a brother of Phillipina. another klein brother, Henry, married Katherina Dully and moved to Tazewell Co IL. Mary Ehrhardt, my gr-aunt, married Phillip Klein. who is probably another brother. According to Phillipina's obit there were 5 brothers and 2 sisters that preceeded her in death but have found only 3 brothers and no sisters. Do have record of Peter, Katherina (Ehrhardt), Phillipina, and Carl emigration.
Charlene,

My g-grandfather Peter Lanzer (1862-1952) had a brother Henry (Sr.) who lived in Napoleon, OH. (1869-1944) Both of them emigrated from Germany to the USA. By any chance is this the Henry Lanzer you are looking for? Peter lived in Lexington & Chenoa, IL.

Linda

Re: Looking for Information on Henry Lanzer

Stephanie please send me your e-mail.It took me 15 mins. to refind the site. Yesterday I was just surffing and had no idea where I was at. ---It looks like you have at least one or two generations missing between Geraldine and Henry E.Lanzer. Also my Henry (E.?) was born 1867 in Ohio. His father Henry was born in Germany. Are you sure you Henry was born in Germany?---There a 3 Lanzer's families in this area. Usually the ones in Stark, Summit Co. are not related. There are two living in the area now. One moved back from California, one generation latter. The other moved at age 50 to retire--- One group originally spelled their name Lantzer and are descentants from Switzerland. The other group is from Germany but settled about 40 to 50 years prior to my Henry's time. Henry and Henrietta Lanzer were both born in Germany, married there and had their first born, Adam in Ohio.My Henry is the third born. This is my bloodline.-----I had to follow the bloodline by getting death certificates. They usually have the parent's names on them. If not then get the birth certificate too.Do one generation at a time because if there is a mistake you will not have to redue the process. If I were you I'd start with Geraldine. You may still be related to us. But the way your genealogy ends it looks off. I have found 5 Henry's not in my family. It may be the times or German culture but I find many names in each Lanzer family that are the same as Elizabeth, William, Henry, John etc. Before I can hook you up to us you need to clean-up your gaps in generations.---Send me your e-mail and I will call an older relative and ask about Geraldine. I hope we are distant relatives but I can't tell yet. Good luck. Charlene

Hello Judith,

I write again as I have picked up what you have posted about Alice Lancer stating that Pincott was her maiden name. Have you any more Pincott names and birth dates that you can let me have of your family members. I would be very interested to add them to my growing list. At the moment I have about 600 names worldwide - the problem is linking them together!! Not quite such an easy task!
Nevertheless, I am grateful for all gifts and if I can be of any help to you I will always try. Look forward to hearing from you.

Gerry
