My great, great grandmother was raised in Escott, Leeds, Ontario. She was born around 1813 and in the early 1850's she married my gggrandfather, George Langley. I was not aware that she had had a previous marriage or her year of birth. Her mother was Abigail Hagerman and her father was William LaRue. Both the Hagermans and the LaRues moved to Canada in the 1780s from the US. She probably married "a" LaPoint in the 1830s. I do not know his first name or if there were offspring.
