OGDENSBURG — Jessica L. Larche, 13, of Moreland Rd., died Friday June 1, 2001, at the University Hospital in Syracuse from injuries sustained from an auto and pedestrian accident on the Moreland Rd. on Thursday afternoon.

Miss Larche was born May 17, 1988 in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Edward and Michele (Lalonde) Larche.

She attended kindergarten and first grades at Heuvelton Central then second, third and fourth at Ogdensburg Catholic School, returning to Heuvelton in 5th grade. She was presently a 7th grade student. She was to inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, was a member of the Modified Track Team at O.F.A. in hurdles. She enjoyed the outdoors, animals and doing crafts. She played fourth and fifth grade basketball at OCCS.

Surviving are her parents, Edward "Ed" and Michele Larche; one brother Nicholas Larche at home; maternal grandmother, Virginia Lalonde in Ogdensburg; paternal grandmother, Rita Marie Larche in Dannemora; several aunts and uncles, Michael Lalonde of Ogdensburg, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Lalonde of Ogdensburg, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lalonde in Rochester, Marie Barilla of Plattsburgh, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Guiney of Tupper Lake, Mr. and Mrs. James Larche of Dexter, Mr. and Mrs. John Larche of Plattsburgh, Paul Larche of Cadyville, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Larche of Dannemora; and several cousins.

She was predeceased by her paternal and maternal grandfathers, Richard T Larche and Kenneth "Jack" Lalonde

Calling hours will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fox McLellan Funeral Home, 528 Franklin St. in Ogdensburg. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2001, with a prayer service at 12:30 p.m. at the Fox-McLellan Funeral Home in Ogdensburg followed by a funeral mass at Notre Dame Church at 1 p.m. with Rev F. James Shurtleff and Rev. Deacon Mark Lalonde officiating. Interment will follow at Foxwood Memorial Park in Ogdensburg.

Memorial donations can be made to a Scholarship Fund at Heuvelton Central School to be established in her name or the Heritage Fund at Notre Dame Church in Ogdensburg.
