My Great Great Grandmother was Mary Ann Lark born 1826-27 in Dunterford a few miles West of Tavistock. She married Henry Hart born 1825-26 and they became Master and Matron of the Tavistock work house around 1870. Dont know if this helps. I've only just started researching. If this helps let me know and I'll let you know what else I find out. Am planning to go to Tavistock area soon.
