Source: The Huguenots or Early French in New Jersey by Albert F. Koehler, 1992, Clearfield Press."Abraham Le Roux (Larew, Laroe, La Rue) , the emigrant, left France for Manheim and sailed for America about 1680. He was in Kingston on the Hudson in 1688 and 1692. Later he moved to the Huguenot colony on Staten Island. However, he died in Hunterdon County in 1712. Abraham was the progenitor of the New Jersey family." Hope this helps someone. Merry Christmas.
