Jean S. LaRoe, 83, of Coronado died Dec. 31. She was born in Pennsylvania and was a teacher. Survivors include her husband, Edward LaRoe; daughters, Sandy Stenger of Birmingham, Mich., and Patti Vecellio of Houston; stepson, Phil LaRoe of St. Paul, Neb.; sister, Marian Romine of Palm City, Fla.; brother, Ritchie Smith of McLean, Va.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services have been held. Entombment: Ben Memorial Park, Corvallis, Ore. Arrangements: Humphrey Mortuary. (Volunteer Submission)
